⚡ Track Actions Assigned To You
Whether you're taking charge of a task or it's been assigned to you by someone else, the Actions page in Whoz helps you stay organized and in control. You can assign actions to yourself to build a personal To Do list, or manage tasks where you're marked as the Owner. Easily track both open and completed activities, validate tasks directly from the list, and use flexible filters to focus on what matters most.
Accessing Your Actions
1. Navigate to Workspace menu > Actions to view all actions assigned to you and select the scope of actions that you want to see.
2. Use the Due Date filter to focus on specific time frames, or use the Due Date (Custom) filter to define your own date ranges for more precise filtering. The assigned user (owner) will receive an email reminder on the due date of the action. Additional reminders are sent for overview actions.
💡 Pro Tip
You can save your filtered views for quick access and even display them on your Homepage for at-a-glance action tracking. Custom date ranges can be bookmarked, but unlike preset filters, they will maintain the specific dates you selected rather than updating automatically. See ⚡ Personalize Your Home Page.
Managing Your Actions
Click the "Mark as complete" circle next to any action to validate it directly from the list view.
To update deadlines and manage priorities:
- Click on the Due Date in the list view.
- Select one of the proposed dates or enter a custom date.
When an action has unresolved blocking conditions — other actions that must be completed before this one — a badge appears on the action card in the list view showing the count of unresolved conditions. This is informational only: you can still validate the action even if conditions remain open.
Viewing an Action
Click on any action to open the action panel — a single-pane view showing the full context of the action: the message with any @mentions, color-coded due date (red if overdue, blue if due today), linked objects, and any blocking conditions. Empty sections are automatically hidden.
See ⚡ Create and Assign Actions for details on creating actions and linking them together.
@Mentions Tab
When a colleague @mentions you in an activity feed, a dedicated @Mentions tab in Your Work collects all actions where you've been mentioned, across all objects and workspaces. The tab shows up to 100 of your most recent mentions from the last 12 months.
Note: Free-text messages posted directly in feeds do not appear in the @Mentions tab — they appear on the object itself. See 🚀 Collaboration for details.
